How does it work?
runFAR® distance challenges are designed to give you extra motivation to reach your monthly training targets.  As standard, you can choose from 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200 miles, half and full marathon.  Once you've signed up to your chosen distance, you then complete your mileage within the month selected, at your own pace, in your own time, in as few or as many runs as you like.  Throughout the month you are able to adjust your distance if you so wish.  The cut off point for this change is the 25th.  We're more than happy for your change to be higher or lower than originally pledged.  After all, it's foot out the door that we want you to feel good about.  It's not a competition ... well, only with yourself!! 

Towards the end of the month, the runFAR® Team will email you to ask for evidence that you have covered the distance.  You'll then need to provide us with this evidence by completing a quick form online, which can be accompanied by a screenshot from your running or fitness app.  Once verified, we'll aim to dispatch your magnificent 'Reward Pack' within 72 hours.  

One lump or two?
A popular question is how may you achieve the monthly distance?  In one lump?  No, you can achieve your miles in as many or as fewer activities as you like.  Perhaps you have a Half Marathon to conquer or simply want to walk 10 miles a week to reach your 40 mile challenge this month?  Whatever you pledge is literally at your pace in your own time.

What if I underestimate my mileage?
Whether you're an avid running enthusiast, beginner jogger, countryside walker or race day jeffer, our virtual distance challenges are designed to reap the best of your abilities.  If you find by halfway through the challenge that you're streaks ahead of your prediction, don't worry, simply contact Team runFAR® who'll be more than happy to adjust your target mileage accordingly.  Similarly, if you've bitten off more than you can chew and there aren't enough hours in the day, we can decrease your goal to make sure your efforts aren't gone to waste.  Our drive is to succeed in your activity.

Can I start a challenge half way through the month?
Yes.  You're more than welcome to join a challenge after the 1st of the month has passed.  If you have a record of your activity this is helpful, but if not we'll allow grace and your word for the distance you have already covered.

Can I reward myself for a past achievement?
Absolutely!  We would be honoured to reward you for a self accomplishment from anytime before Just click above on 'bespoke' from the drop-down menu, and provide details and evidence of your race/event/distance and we'll create a medal to celebrate your success.

But, I work in Kilometers!
No problem.  We can create your medal to suit your achievement.  Simply make your purchase from the 'bespoke' option in the above drop-down menu, and add a footnote with your details/special request.  This is also ideal for those wanting to cover Ultra Marathons or a specific endurance event.
