Charity Activity Challenge

What's it all about?
Team runFAR® have created an Activity Challenge which you decide the start/end dates and pledge to carry out a physical activity that's a challenge to you.

I can't run!  Do I have to run?  No.  Not at all.  This is your chance to be really imaginative with your challenge.  An opportunity to make it a personal achievement and lots of fun along the way.  Maybe you fancy setting a number of steps in a day?  Hold a dance-off?  Weekly plank hold target?  A set treadmill distance?  Or maybe run a marathon around your works carpark?  The choice is yours!  We'd love you to share your story on social media about what you're doing and why, it's not compulsory but from experience it helps greatly to spread awareness for the charity and in return helps motivate you too.  Upon completion of your challenge, we'll reward you with a glorious medal and personalised certificate sent to you by post.  From EVERY entry fee we donate £5.00 direct to Target Ovarian Cancer charity.

How do I register?
1.   Click 'add to cart'.
2.  Decide your activity challenge and timescale.
3.  Announce your challenge to your friends and family (and Team runFAR).
4.  Keep a record of your activities (either by fitness wearable, mobile phone app or spreadsheet).
5.  Submit your evidence at the end of your challenge to www.runfar.co.uk/evidenceform
6.  Wait for your reward pack to arrive.
7.  Wear your medal with pride.

How can donations help?
£7 could enable a GP to update their knowledge of ovarian cancer and best practice for early diagnosis.
£17 could fund our nurse-led Support Line for women with ovarian cancer for one hour.
£50 could help 50 people to learn about the symptoms of ovarian cancer by receiving a symptoms leaflet.
£250 could fund a day of lifesaving research through one of their studies.

"11 women die from ovarian cancer in the UK every day.  Together we can fund life-saving research to help double survival rates."
